My name is Jessica Allen. I have a passion for all things accounting. I have my Associates Degree in Accounting and over 10 years’ experience. I’ve been a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor for many years now, for both the online and desktop platforms. I have worked with many small to medium sized businesses across many different industries. Which included Construction, Health Care, Cannabis, Solar, Restaurant/Bar, Salon, Trucking, Residential Care Providers, Content Creators, Education Providers, and Rental Management – just to name a few.
The work I do for my clients helps them understand the financial well-being of their business. This provides them with great insight on when to expand, cut back, and helps them stay out of the weeds of the business and focus on their passion that made them go into business. My clients compliment me on my thoroughness, reliability, and my response time.
My work consists of 50% direct client facing and 50% managing and training my team. My client-facing work is a combination of onboarding new clients, clean-up projects, client oversight, weekly financial calls, payroll, and HR. I do weekly 1on1’s with each of my team members to answer their accounting questions, do trainings, and financial reviews. I continually work on creating new processes to streamline internal and external client work. I train my team on these processes and collaborate on how to work smarter not harder for our clients. Continued education is also important to me. I do several courses throughout the year on many different areas of accounting and new tech that automates my workflow.
